Experience Anatomy class series
Week 1: Breath and the Spine
Breath and the spine are integral to all human movement. This class explores the function of the diaphragm and the spine, and how to use breath to influence and deepen the movement of the spine.
Week 2: Pelvis and Pelvic Floor
In this class we dive deep into the pelvis and pelvic floor, and how that connects with the breath and spine. This will allow us to create a strong, internal foundation to build larger, stronger movements.
Week 3: Hips
Lets dig into the structure and function of the hip joint, and experience the supporting musculature. Ever wondered what the psoas is? Let’s find out!
Week 4: Shoulders
The star of the show, everyone loves the shoulder! Beyond learning about the anatomy of the shoulder, we’ll be learning about function and why making sure everything else in your body is working well is so important for happy, healthy shoulders.
What to Expect
- Foundational Anatomy: Each session begins with a brief overview of key anatomical structures and their roles in movement.
- Experiential Learning: You'll actively engage with exercises designed to help you feel and understand the anatomical concepts from the inside out.
- Integrated Approach: The series builds progressively, layering concepts to create a holistic understanding of your body’s structure and function.
